"Queensland, with its wild  open plains and vast coastlines surrounded by red rust hills, desert outback, intense heat, deep blue sea and sky, lush rainforest vegetation, sharp clear light and vibrant colours, has influenced my paintings as a fine artist over the past six years following several  trips to visit family in Australia.

The paintings move between objective realism to abstraction, conveying a sense of mystery and atmosphere."
